Entrance Requirements

Zion Christian University admits single or married male and female students without respect to age, race, color, national or ethnic origin. However, applicants must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in order to be admitted into Zion Christian University. The University was founded to educate the Body of Christ and therefore retains the right to deny admission to any applicant that does not evidence, to the satisfaction of the University, a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Admission to the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) or the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) programs is available to those who meet the following entrance requirements:

  1. Graduated with a four-year bachelor’s degree from an acceptable post-secondary institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, based on a 4.00 scale.
  2. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  3. Provided transcripts from all schools attended where college credit was earned.
  4. Provided a recommendation from a member of the clergy.
  5. Submitted an Admission Application, complete in its entirety, along with the admission fee.
